Hot Luck: Live Food & Music is returning to Austin, Texas, to honor the soul, sweat and DIY diversity of the food and music world on May 24–27. Created and founded by James Beard Award-winner Aaron Franklin, Guerilla Suit principal and Mohawk owner James Moody, and Mike Thelin, cofounder of Feast Portland, this Texas-sized get-together is the true Austin festival experience blending world-class culinary talent and live music.

In its inaugural year, the festival was named Austin Monthly’s best festival of 2017, featuring a stellar lineup of chefs near and afar including Adam Perry Lang, Roy Choi, Andy Ricker, Chris Shepherd, and Tyson Cole along with music from Thurston Moore, The Black Lips, Black Joe Lewis, Robert Ellis and more.

The festival will once again host a series of customizable events and surprises all around the city, with live music and signature culinary events every night in the city’s most iconic venues. Returning sponsors this year include Lone Star Beer, YETI and more.  Stay tuned for the full schedule to be announced in early 2018 along with the chef and music lineup.

Hot Luck is proud to announce that a portion of the festival’s proceeds will be donated to The SAFE Alliance for the second year. The SAFE Alliance is a merger of Austin Children’s Shelter and SafePlace, both long-standing and respected human service agencies in Austin serving the survivors of child abuse, sexual assault and exploitation, and domestic violence.

Tickets are on sale now with Whole Enchilada passes, which include entry to all events throughout the weekend. A la carte tickets will go on sale on at later date, so stay tuned.  For more information, please visit www.HotLuckFest.com.
