Eastside Cafe’s signature brunch menu, which is usually offered on the weekends only, will be available on Thursday, Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day, as well as traditional black-eyed peas to bring luck for the year to come. Brunch on New Year’s Day will be served from 11:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. Popular items on the brunch menu include the smoked salmon benedict, eggs Florentine, apple almond waffles, and French toast. In addition, Eastside also offers myriad of fresh, seasonal meals for people looking to eat healthier in 2015 such as the grilled chicken breast is marinated in herbs and garlic, topped with Thai cucumber relish and Szechuan sauce, and served with a side of broccoli and brown rice.
Healthy dishes and sides on Eastside’s menu include the roasted acorn squash, grilled salmon, beet salad, grilled trout, grilled tuna steak sandwich on a wheat bun, vegetarian enchiladas with corn tortillas, and more. Eastside serves many vegetarian-friendly, vegan-friendly and/or gluten-free dishes, and can accommodate almost any type of dietary restrictions. They’ll be doing their Big Band brunch (Yonder Way Farm special, Banger’s Benny, Biscuits & Gravy) with the Urban Achievers playing, 10AM-12:30PM, and Dead Capital Music Band, 1-3PM.
Epicerie will be doing a special brunch, 10AM-3PM, featuring specials like Black Eyed Peas Eggs Benedict (black eyed peas are good luck!).
