Walton’s Fancy and Staple Now Offering Gourmet Burger Every Wednesday

For years now, the lure of fresh-baked artisan breads, daily sandwich specials and indulgent sweet treats has made Walton’s Fancy and Staple the go-to delicatessen in Austin’s Market District. Now, the iconic Sixth Street deli is introducing Austin to its newest extravagant menu specialty: The Staple Burger.

Now available every Wednesday, The Staple Burger ($13), like every other cherished item on the deli’s beloved menu, is made by hand with fresh, artisan ingredients. This is no average burger. The Staple Burger is a towering, luxurious gourmet meal worthy of the Walton’s name, and features Strube Ranch Wagyu beef that’s ground in-house, and is topped with aWalton’s tarragon & thyme aioli, Treviso radicchio and a soft cow’s-milk cheese knownPerlagrigia sotto cenere that is delicately laced with back truffle shavings and lightly spiced with nutmeg—all sandwiched between a house-made pumpernickel bun, and served with a side of Parmesan fried potatoes. It’s sure to become one of Austin’s favorite burgers.
