Travel to Oktoberfest with TRACE’s Seasonal Beer Flights & Charcuterie Pairings

WHAT:               Celebrate Oktoberfest, the world’s most famous beer festival without ever leaving downtown Austin. TRACE at W Austin provides a chance to experience a sampling of festive fare paired with two special beer flights providing beer lovers the opportunity to try a variety of pours, not regularly available on the TRACE menu.

 

Highlighting Chef de Cuisine Lawrence Kocurek’s extensive charcuterie skills, the pairing menu features housemade specialties, some of which are available by popular demand on the restaurant’s daily menu.

 

Aligning with a menu that celebrates local, seasonal ingredients and responsible sourcing, the Go Local flight ($12) features three styles from Austin’s own Independence Brewing Co. paired with traditional offerings such as Chef Kocurek’s Pâté Maison, smooth duck liver mousse; and Pâté de Campagne.

For those seeking something more adventurous, the Belgian flight ($16) includes three unique regional style beers that couple perfectly with the Kielbasa Krakowska,Prosciutto and Smoked Venison Sausage.
