For those of you looking for an escape or just another way to spend your Thanksgiving Holiday outside of Austin, why not look overseas to Italy.  Even in Italy Americans can enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal at Hotel Principe di Savoia’s award winning restaurant Acanto.

The Thanksgiving lunch menu is a tribute to the many American guests that have stayed at the hotel over the years and includes all the classics Thanksgiving dishes with a Milanese twist.

Executive Chef Fabrizio Cadei’s menu is exalted by a lightness of touch and highly aesthetic presentation and includes parcel of phyllo dough with salmon, crab and corn, clam soup with coriander and pumpkin, supréme and leg of turkey roll with chestnuts apricot roll and raisins, roasted sweet potatoes with honey-glazed vegetables, and apple strüdel with cinnamon and grapes topped with walnut ice cream. Rates for Thanksgiving dinner are 75 EUR (approximately $101 USD) per person, Vat included, beverages not included.
