Austin’s The Hightower is hoping to help The ColorCancerNetwork by hosting its launch party on August 6th from 5 pm – 10 pm.

The Austin ColorCancer Network is a philanthropic and social group that will provide support to the Austin cancer community through ColorCancer’s programs. This includes providing home-care supplies to those with cancer for free. This is an effort to help ease the financial and emotional stresses that are correlated with Cancer, for Austinites.

The event will include the modern ambiance of The Hightower as well as beer flights with a $5 donation. These flights will include beers from breweries like Austin Beer Works, Live Oak Brewing Company, Circle Brewing and more. Bites that include brussels sprouts made with peanut butter, golden raisins, sambal, and lemon, as well as their ceviche made with mahi mahi, orange, shallots, smoked fennel mojo, popcorn crumble, and scallion ash, will be available from The Hightower‘s happy hour menu.

The Hightower is located at 1209 E. Seventh St. Austin, TX 78702.
