On Sunday, November 15, 2015, some of Austin’s most talented chefs will come together for the bi-annual Sustainable Food Center Chef Series at La Condesa (400 W. 2nd Street). Presented by New Waterloo and FÖDA Studio, the event will benefit Sustainable Food Center, an organization devoted to sustainably grown and humanely harvested food that supports local farms and cultivates a healthy community.

This fall, the SFC Chef Series will celebrate fresh, local ingredients unique to Austin and Central Texas with chefs Nathan Lemley (Parkside), Rick Lopez (La Condesa), Tim Love (Lonesome Dove), Amanda Rockman (South Congress Hotel), Eric Silverstein (The Peached Tortilla), and Jacob Weaver (Juliet). Using meat and produce from SFC’s Farmers Market and local partners, the chefs will collaborate on a multi-course tasting menu featuring passed appetizers, four savory courses, and dessert with drink pairings by La Condesa.

“Our partnership with La Condesa and New Waterloo has been instrumental in bringing people closer to SFC through the amazing seasonal Chef Series,” says Sustainable Food Center Executive Director Ronda Rutledge. “We’ve made new friends through these incredible dinners, and the proceeds have significantly contributed to our food systems work here in Austin.”

Tickets are $150 per person or $1350 for a table of 10, with all proceeds benefiting the Sustainable Food Center. Please visit sfcchefseries.splashthat.com to purchase.
