In support of this Sunday’s charity barbecue, Swig n’ Swine SXSW, The Bon Vivants are pleased to announce that three local Austin establishments are helping to support the charitable cause by offering signature punches with proceeds from each drink purchased being donated to KIPP Charter Schools, the same charity benefited by this Sunday’s Swig n’ Swine event. All specials are available now and on an ongoing basis:
  • Swig n’ Swine SXSW host Half Step (www.halfstepbar.com) will offer the Rainey Street Revival: Templeton, Carpano Antica, Fernet, Fresh Ginger Syrup and lime ($11)
  • Weather Up (http://weatherupnyc.com/austinmenu.html) will be serving up the Moreno Swizzle: Don Q Anejo, King’s Ginger, Luxardo Amaretto, pineapple, lime, Bad Dog- Fire and Damnation Bitters, Ango ($10). Named after Ms. Rita, of course.
  • Drink Well (http://www.drinkwellaustin.com/) will offer the Rain King: Don Julio Blanco, Ancho Reyes, Pineapple Puree, Giffard Ginger, lime and Bitter End Thai Bitters ($10)
