It’s Tiki Week in Austin and Sway is going hog-wild for brunch! What better way to cure your Sunday hangover than with a hearty pig roast?

On Sunday, September 29th, Sway South First, the award-winning modern Thai restaurant located in Austin, Texas, is kicking off its first-ever pig roast, hosted in the outdoor garden by Group Executive Chef Charles Schlienger and boys of Sway.

After competing in a chef v. chef pig roast competition last fall, Chef Charles wanted to bring the backyard cookout party to Sway’s South First location. Throw in a laid-back Hawaiian vibe, and you’ve got a Tao Luau.

The team is going whole hog on this one — preparing a 200lb pig overnight, slow roasting it on a spit until dawn. Guests can grab a plate of all-you-can-eat pig for $15 to pair with kaffir lychee tiki punch or a bacon old fashioned, available alongside some of Sway’s a la carte brunch favorites, recently voted 2019 Best Brunch in ATX by Austin Monthly.

Sway’s 2019 Tao Luau occurs at the end of Texas Tiki Week, a week-long celebration of tiki cocktails and culture. The brunch menu can be found HERE and guests are encouraged to RSVP HERE. It’s kind of a pig deal.
