Scholz Garten, Oldest Live Music Venue in Texas, is thrilled to announce that they are once again bringing the Austin community together for a special Autumn Equinox celebration that will featuring great music, art, food, and beer! Austin Equinox is Monday, September 23 at Scholz Garten from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and tickets are now on sale for $12 here

The Autumn Equinox celebration is the second in a series of four shows over the next 12 months occurring every solstice and equinox, all featuring The Matt Gilmour Band with additional performances curated by Matt Gilmour. The evening will feature music from Redd Volkaert and The Matt Gilmour Band, more acts to be announced. The evening will also showcase the art of Rohit Records – a record store for bands that don’t exist. It is an art installation that mimics a record store – filled with album covers, concert posters and tshirts – for completely fictitious bands, all created by artist, Rohitash Rao. Rohitash has just recently relocated to Austin, and Scholz Garten is thrilled to share his works.

Austin based non profit group, Earthbound Astronomers, will be on hand with their telecopes for night sky viewing and additional demonstrations! The evening is family and pet friendly!
