Executive Chef Ben Baker and the culinary team at The Preserve strive deliver an adventurous yet relaxing dining concept that brings the modern farm-to-table experience to diners and guests. The culinary staff’s goal is to consistently astonish guests with delicious dishes, filled with organic and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, fostering a sense of community at the dining table. Chef Ben, has taken great strides to deliver a unique experience that allows guests to socialize and share their very own experiences while dining in the warm welcoming atmosphere.
The Preserve highlights the seasonal ingredients grown by Farm Manager, Kim Grabosky. Theresort’s impressive 3.25 acre farm grows a myriad of greens, summer squash, cucumbers, green beans, melons, and much more; featuring more than 80 varieties of vegetable crops, perennial fruit orchards, native pecans, edible flowers, and medical herbs.
Kim and Chef Ben collaborate regularly on what is planted and served to guests, with the goal bringing diners the best farm-to-table dining experience in the Texas Hill Country. These two obsessions make dining at Travaasa Austin an amazing experience, one we’ll never forget!
