40 North is kicking off their special chef collaboration series with Chef Philip Speer.  Each month, 40 North will showcase collaborations with other local and national chefs and restaurants, with a percentage of proceeds benefiting the guest chef’s charity of choice.

The “Philly North” x 40 North Pizza Collaboration will feature Chef Philip Speer, formerly of Bonhomie, St. Phillip and Uchiko.  Chef Speer and 40 North Chef Clint Elmore have created a Clam and Nduja Pizza special with pecorino, shaved apple, micro arugula, and lemon. $1 from each pizza sale will be donated to RAICES, Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Immigrant Services, Speer’s charity of choice.

 

In addition to the pizza special and utilizing Chef Speer’s impressive pastry background, the collaboration will also spotlight a Dark Chocolate, Mole Ganache & Fig Ice Cream Sandwich made with Dolce Neve dark chocolate ice cream, fig jam, mole ganache and puffed amaranth nestled between two decadent chocolate cookies. Both specials will run through the entire month of July, dine-in only.

 

The special is only available during the month of July at 40 North.  Hours are MondaySaturday: 11:00 a.m.- 10:00 p.m. and Sunday: 11:00 a.m.- 9:00 p.m.
