In honor of Negroni Week kicking off on today, we’re highlighting a few Negronis from some of our favorite local spots in Austin every day this week.

Negroni: Velvet Voice with Del Maguey Vida Mezcal, Campari, Hibiscus infused Dolin Rouge and orange bitters

“A twist on a Negroni, which swaps the typical gin with mezcal. I infuse the sweet vermouth with dried hibiscus flowers to give it a floral kick. Smooth, smoky and a bit bitter. Drinks really well.”

Recipe:

Ingredients

1 oz Del Maguey Vida Mezcal 1 oz Campari 1 oz Hibiscus infused Dolin Rouge (use dried hibiscus flowers, takes 1 hour) 2 dashes Regan’s Orange Bitters Grapefruit peel

Directions:
1. Quickly stir all ingredients2. Pour over large ice cube in highball glass
