Mettle East Austin Bistro is excited to announce today the debut of their new fall menu. Curated by Chef Carson Symmonds, the new menu reflects Mettle’s passion for a true bistro fare, with a touch of international influences.

Mettle’s inspiration for the fall menu came from the team’s vision to offer bistro favorites such as flat iron steak frites and fried chicken with seven-pepper gravy, while integrating international dishes like their lamb tikka masala, pork confit carnitas, and beef tongue bánh mi.

“I’ve developed a simple and approachable menu that is playful, full of flavor, and representative of a true bistro fare,” said Chef Symmonds, a native Texan and alumni of the Culinary Institute of America in New York. “I love the simplicity and the straight-forward approach of bistro comfort food, which is why I feel this menu is a great fit for Mettle.”

In conjunction with the launch of the new menu, Mettle is excited to announce Service Industry Nights every Monday 4:00p.m.­12:00 a.m. featuring live music, 25% off beer, wine, and cocktails, and a special happy hour menu curated by Mettle’s culinary team.
