Public Invited to Celebrate the Budding of the Vines and the Blooming of the Roses

Messina Hof Winery & Resort will host its 31st Annual Wine & Roses Festival on April 25, 2015, from 2-8 p.m. The public is invited to enjoy the numerous festival activities that include a grape stomp competition, wine tastings, behind-the-scenes winery tours, live music, wine and chocolate pairing classes, Pinot’s Palette painting classes, food and more. Voting will be open as well for the 2015 Texas Artist Wine Label Competition.

“The Wine & Roses Festival pays homage to the Old World tradition of welcoming the start of spring and blessing of a new vintage by celebrating the budding of the Estate grape vines and blooming of the roses,” said Messina Hof Chief Executive Officer and Winemaker Paul M. Bonarrigo.

The public is invited to explore the full Messina Hof estate in Bryan, Texas while taking in the sights, sounds and sensations provided by all the activities offered throughout the day. Attendees will have the chance to experience local food vendors, artisans and activities spread throughout the estate. Some specialty activities have limited seating and are only being offered at specifictimes throughout the day. More information and a full schedule of all of Messina Hof’s Wine & Roses activities can be found at www.messinahof.com/wineandroses.

Admission to the Wine & Roses Festival is free. Tickets to participate in activities will be available for purchase on-site at the ticket tent. Visitors can also pre-purchase Wine & Roses packages here.
