Austin’s very own Tito’s Handmade Vodka has launched the “Meet The Maker” program. This initiative provides a spotlight on local Austin culinary establishments while showcasing their ever-famous spirits in a variety of creations.

The opening act of the “Meet The Maker” program is the Award-Winning Artisan Austin Chocolatier Delysia. Chef Nicole Patel will be crafting a selection of Tito’s-infused truffles. These truffles will include a Bloody Mary (featuring bittersweet chocolate, tomatoes, jalapeños, a pinch of celery salt and a splash of Tito’s), Texas Slipper (featuring dark chocolate, elderflower and a twist of grapefruit and Tito’s), and Red Punch (pomegranate, orange zest, strawberry and Tito’s).

Tito’s will feature three additional local culinarians to create exclusive projects involving their vodka.  “We are delighted and honored that Tito’s Handmade Vodka loved our creation, and selected us as the artisan to launch their Meet the Makers program,” comments Patel. “Both companies have similar stories; owners with an engineering background following an artisan passion. We are looking forward to continued collaboration with the Austin institution to push the traditional boundaries and create unique flavor combinations.”

Delysia Chocolatier was awarded six Gold Medals at the 2014 International Chocolate Salon Awards and was named one of the Best Chocolatiers and Confectioners in America by the Salon. Delysia was one of only ten chocolatiers to receive the coveted six-star rating and is the only Texas-based chocolate company to land the perfect appraisement. The International Chocolate Salon Awards is widely recognized as the premier awards recognizing the finest in artisan and premium chocolate and confections.
