Geraldine’s Executive Chef Stephen Bonin recently debuted a revamped the lunch menu for the summer, featuring seasonally-inspired dishes, highlighting flavors that embody the city. Located on iconic Rainey Street, Geraldine’s has made it even easier for guests to stop by for weekday eats by introducing complimentary valet for breakfast and lunch, Monday through Saturday.

What to Order

We were able to sample a few items from the new menu.  A few of our favorites include Steak & Parmesan Fries which includes a 4oz. of Akaushi New York Strip and béarnaise; Bourbon Glazed Cauliflower Steak with Pistachio gremolata, pepper-ash mayo, orange supremes, herb salad and preserved lemon-ginger dressing; and the BLT & Pimento Cheese Sandwich with a side of tomato soup.

My favorite was the Akashi Burger with Texas gold cheddar, greens, red onions, dijonnaise and pickles. The bun is perfectly toasted and the Akashi beef is incredibly juicy enough to melt in your mouth making it one of our favorite burgers in town.  (See our list of Austin’s Finest Burgers)

Geraldine’s pool deck is one of the prettiest spots in the city with shaded cabanas creating an almost serene resort atmosphere, blending sweetly with the indoor and outdoor spaces. The entire space allows hotel guests the ability to experience the on stage music inside as well as the beautiful outdoor space.

The lush greenery is spread throughout the space and polished glass separates the poolside lounge from the dining area.  You’ll also have sweet views of Lady Bird Lake, downtown Austin and Austin’s unbelievable nightly sunsets creating a cozy and relaxing setting for all guests.
