Specials Valentine’s Desserts and Baskets Also Available for Pre-Order

Épicerie is excited to announce the addition of their new pastry chef, Heather Butcher. A Portland, OR native, Butcher is an alum of John Besh’s Borgne in New Orleans.  She brings 15 years of restaurant experience to the Épicerie kitchen, led by chef and owner Sarah McIntosh.

For Valentine’s Day, Butcher is preparing two special desserts, a light Lavender Honey Goat Cheese Cheesecake and a rich Dark Chocolate Bavarois. Both will be available all day on Valentine’s Day, and Épicerie will be offering a pairing of Graham Beck Brut Rose to accompany the sweets. One (or both) desserts make the perfect ending to a romantic meal of French-Louisiana inspired cuisine at Épicerie. Or if you prefer a cozy night in, take dessert to-go and pick up a bottle of wine from Épicerie’s market.

In addition to these special pastries, Épicerie has put together a Valentine’s Day basket with items from their market. The basket contains a selection of decadent treats: Dick Taylor Fleur de Sel Chocolate, Bathtub Gin Limoncello & Strawberry jam (with cocktail recipe card) and Lamberti Prosecco ($40).  Or take home a customized basket with a selection from Épicerie’s cheese, meat, beer, and wine selection.
