Presenting a Four-Course Menu and Wine Pairings Prepared Exclusively for the Culinary Event on Sunday, October 19

 

AUSTIN, TX (Oct. 15, 2014) – As part of its Guest Chef Series, Austin’s Josephine House will welcome Peggy and Ron Weiss with special guest Chef David Garrido for “An Evening With Jeffrey’s,” an ode to Austin’s premier fine dining institution. The one-night-only culinary event will honor the history of Jeffrey’s with a four-course dining menu including an appetizer, salad, entrée, and dessert. The event will take place on Sunday, October 19 at 6:00 p.m. The menu is $60 per person with wine pairings available for an additional $35. The full menu can be found here.

“An Evening With Jeffrey’s” will toast to the 1990s era of the iconic Austin establishment by welcoming original owners Ron and Peggy Weiss, as well as former Head Chef David Garrido. The evening’s special four-course menu, prepared by Garrido, will offer an array of classic Jeffrey’s favorites. The full menu is as follows:

Additionally, prints from Peggy’s original artwork will be signed and given to all reservations of the evening. Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy complimentary bubbles on the front lawn throughout the culinary event.

Josephine House, the sister restaurant to Jeffrey’s, launched its Guest Chef Series to feature culinary talent in Texas while highlighting the restaurant’s unique and intimate space. “An Evening With Jeffrey’s” is the seventh in the series, with previous guest chefs including: Paula Disbrowe & Easy Tiger’s David Norman, Louis Lambert, Maiya Keck, Bufalina’s Steven Dilley, and Ramen Tatsu-Ya Head Chef Takuya “Tako” Matsumoto.
