A Special Four-Course Menu and Wine Pairings

Prepared Exclusively for the Event on November 4

Jeffrey’sAustin’s fine dining institution, is pleased to announce its upcoming wine dinner featuring legendary winemaker Christian Moueix onTuesday, November 4. The special evening will be Moueix’s very first trip to Austin. Starting at 6 p.m., the evening will begin with passed hors d’oeuvres and champagne, followed by a four-course dinner including three savory courses and a dessert. Each course will complement an elite selection of Moueix’s favorite estate wines over the last 15 years. Christian Moueix is a French winemaker and president of Etablissements Jean-Pierre Moueix, the leading wine company of Bordeaux’s Right Bank, and is the owner of Dominus Estate in Napa Valley. In France, he produces wine from ten family châteaux including La Fleur Petrus, Trotanoy, Hosanna, and Providence in Pomerol as well as Bélair-Monange and Magdelaine in Saint Emilion. In 2008, Moueix was named a Legend of Wine by the James Beard Foundation and Man of the Year byDecanter Magazine. He was also awarded Wine Spectator’s Distinguished Service Award in 2011.

June Rodil, beverage director for McGuire Moorman Hospitality and advanced sommelier, will lead the dinner along with guest Mark Sayre, beverage director and advanced sommelier of the Four Seasons in Austin.
