You can only hope that “Texas” will be somewhere in this waffle’s name. 1886’s Texas Pecan Waffle is everything you have ever dreamed a waffle would be. Fresh pecans, blueberries, banana, blackberry jam, powdered sugar, and a drizzle of warm maple syrup will have you praising the waffle angels. 1886 Cafe and Bakery is located inside the Driskill Hotel.

Eastside Cafe has been preparing their mouthwatering menu items since 1988 and they were named one of Austin’s 10 best restaurants by USA Today Travel. If their popularity is any inclination of how awesome their waffles are, I think we are all in for a treat.
