Andiamo Ristorantenorth Austin’s destination for classicItalian fare, is celebrating Dieci Anni di Paste e Amore (“10 Years of Pasta and Love”)on Tuesday, August 26, from 7 to 9 p.m. Andiamo will present a four-course mealfeaturing a menu of the restaurant’s most admired dishes to commemorate ten years of serving the Austin community, not to mention offer $10 bottles of select winesthroughout the celebratory month.

Andiamo opened in August 2004; in 2010 Daniela Marcone purchased the restaurantfrom the original owner, after having worked for him as a hostess, then manager since 2005.  Since that time, Daniela has transformed Andiamo into a refined North Austin bistro by utilizing seasonal and locally grown ingredients and long-established family recipes of classic Italian fare, which often rivals specialties found in her homeland of Naples, Italy. “Every Monday morning I call my mother in Naples and ask her what the Andiamo weekly specials should be. She gives me the recipes, which is typically four to eight servings, and then I prepare it for my kitchen team. They then prepare the new dishes for the restaurant menu,” says Marcone. 

Guests will begin this celebratory dinner by breaking the Pane della Casa: Andiamo House Bread alongside an appetizer of Involtini di Melanzane: breaded eggplant, complemented by Martin Ulysses Cerasuolo Rose.

For the second course, Andiamo’s beloved fennel salad, Insalata Di Finocchio will be paired with Poggio alla Luna Chiani, to add just the right amount of freshness before the main course of Linguine Luci Johnson with a glass of Napolini Rosso. Named after long-time patron, Luci Baines Johnson, this shrimp linguine is a timeless Italiancombination of cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, arugula and crushed red pepper flakes tossed with a garlic olive oil sauce.

The anniversary dinner will then conclude with Andiamo’s house-made espresso Tiramisuand chocolate Profiteroles paired with Prosecco San Thomas.

Throughout the month of August, Andiamo will also feature $10 bottles of select wine. The Italian bistro’s handpicked wine collection originates from small Italian producers chosen by Marcone, including organic and biodynamic varieties.

Andiamo Ristorante is located at 2521 Rutland Dr., in North Austin, and features only authentic Italian cuisine inspired by seasonal ingredients and classic Italian recipes.
