WHAT: American Craft Beer Week (ACBW) is May 11-17, and Hops & Grain will pay homage with an excellent lineup of events! They have teamed up with some of the best beer purveyors in the city to celebrate.

Monday, May 11

To celebrate ACBW, Hops & Grain is teaming up with St. Phillip for a night of pizza and beer. The chefs at St. Phillip are creating a five-course dinner thoughtfully paired with Hops & Grain beers. The evening starts at 6:30 p.m. with a meet and greet with Hops & Grain founder, Josh Hare. Hare will be on hand throughout the dinner to discuss his love for craft beer and answer any questions. Dinner begins at 7 p.m. and continues into the night on the St. Phillip patio.



Whole Foods Tap Takeoverwhole foods

To keep the ACBW celebration going, Hops & Grain is heading to Whole Foods at The Domain for a tap takeover in the Draft Shack! Guests will receive a Hops & Grain passport and can collect stamps by trying the different beers on tap. Whole Foods will be tapping Greenhouse IPA batch 16 and batch 19 as well as Peach of a Pale, Pale Dog, ALT-eration, The One They Call Zoe and A Pale Mosaic. Once guests collect five stamps, they will receive an exclusive Hops & Grain gift.

Wednesday, May 13

Hops & Grain is joining forces with Hopfields for a hopped up night. The evening will feature Hops & Grain’s hoppiest beers including A Pale Mosaic, The One They Call Zoe, Greenhouse IPA, Dark IPA and Dry-Hopped Red Ale. Starting at 6 p.m., guests can enjoy a flight of all five beers, and at 7 p.m., Hare will do a guided tasting. There will also be different hops for folks to smell and learn more about, making it an educational and tasty event.

The Hops & Grain crew will be at Star Bar for happy hour. There will be several special tappings and a swag giveaway.

Local breweries are uniting at Hi Hat Public House for a Texas Beer Day. There will be special tappings from Hops & Grain, Austin Beerworks, (512), Live Oak, Real Ale, Jester King and many more. Brewers will be on hand to chat about the different brews.


Pint Night at Indian Roller

For their last event of ACBW, Hops & Grain is heading to Indian Roller Boutique Roadhouse for Pint Night. The H&G team will be handing out souvenir pint glasses and discussing their favorite thing: beer.


WHY:  Because American Craft Beer Week deserves to be celebrated in style.
