Home Slice Pizza is bringing the popular event series, DOUGHvember, back for a third consecutive year beginning Friday, November 1.  The charity-driven campaign, which will take place the month of November through #GivingTuesday on December 3, will support different local charity nonprofit partners throughout the month.

DOUGHvember was created in the fall of 2017 as a successor to the restaurant’s annual Carnival O’ Pizza event at its original location on South Congress. Last year’s month-long campaign raised a record-setting $30,000, which marked a 250+ percent increase in total funds raised from the first campaign in 2017.

PROFIT SHARING & SPECIAL MENU

Due to last year’s success, Homeslice will again be donating a percentage of sales to four different charities over the course of the month. Home Slice is trying to raise more than ever by increasing the give to 10% of proceeds for every day of the entire month.

In addition, Via 313 Pizza and Pinthouse Pizza will also be returning partners 2019.  Via 313 will donate ten percent of their Monday sales to the charity partners, and Pinthouse Pizza will donate fifty cents per pint purchased at the South Congress and North Loop locations.

RAFFLE PRIZES & PIZZA-FOR-A-YEAR

Home Slice will also offer several opportunities for pizza-lovers to win free pizza for a year through raffle contests. All three locations will host their own unique raffle contests, meaning there are three raffles in total, and potentially three different winners.

Beginning today, October 17, interested patrons can purchase tickets in-store at all locations for just $10 and the winners will be selected on the night of Tuesday, December 3. Guests are encouraged to purchase multiple tickets, as this will increase their chances of winning free pizza for a year. 100% of proceeds from the raffle tickets will be donated evenly amongst the participating charities.

GRAND FINALE DINNER & PIZZA PARTNERS

To cap off the month-long event series, Home Slice will again host a grand finale event on Tuesday, December 3 at its original dine-in location on South Congress. 100% of funds raised from the Grand Finale dinner event will be donated evenly between the participating charities.

In order to maximize local awareness and increase donations during the Grand Finale dinner event on Tuesday, December 3, Home Slice has partnered again with #GivingTuesday, an annual nationwide event that takes place on the Tuesday immediately following Thanksgiving.  Local nonprofit I Live Here I Give Here has been selected as the campaign leader for Central Texas and will be supporting this event and partnership as well as tracking the total amount in DOUGHvember donations from Home Slice in their report of total Central Texas funds raised during #GivingTuesday 2019.
