Alamo Beer Company is celebrating their grand opening March 6th-8th. The three day celebration will include keg tappings, tours, live music, brunch and a beer dinner. The event kicks off with a cannon shot commemorating Alamo Beer Company’s return after 95 years. The brewery will be serving their new beers: Alamo Lager, Alamo Pilsner and Alamo German Pale ale in a limited commemorative pint glass. The gorgeous beer garden and beer hall will officially be open to the general public.

The new brewery is located a short 12 minute walk from the Alamo. COO Jim Walter shared they wanted to fill a gap in the market by brewing in an old style. The beer hall has a solar roof with translucent panels making a picturesque view from the towering Hays Street Bridge. The beer garden will host food trailers, live music and has games to include bocce ball and washers. The brewery is a welcoming and enjoyable place for both the local community and tourists alike.
