The Alice in Wonderland themed event NACE threw to benefit The Arc of the Capitol Area was an absolute delight! Every detail about this event was exquisite, down to the little mushroom ice sculptures, provided by Amazing Ice Designs.  The band, Memphis Train Revue, was rockin with their rendition of “Blurred Lines” with talent coming from the ladies doing Pharells rap and the brass section getting involved to get everyone dancing!

Keeping with the “Eat the Heat” theme, vendors brought just that with their tasty hot renditions of finger foods, including ribs, skewered nibbles and even evil jungle chicken!  There were the familiar faces there like Pink Avocado and Alfred’s Catering, but the booth that stood out to us was The Marvelous Vintage Tea Co., with tea kettles full of booze, aerial dancers, and the tastiest “Eat Me” cakes provided by Michelle’s Patisserie.

Independence Brewing Co brought their beer White Rabbit to keep with theme & their tasty newbie Power & Light, a Pale Ale concoction perfect for those who like their beers a little less hoppy.  The tastiest “Drink Me” of the night came from Austin Cocktails, with their incredibly refreshing cucumber mojito amalgam, which was surprisingly not as sweet as it sounds.  It was a night for food and merriment and we ate like cabbages and kings!
