The hit primetime baking competition Best Baker In America is returning for an all new season on Monday, May 13th on Food Network with Geraldine’s Executive Pastry Chef Yolanda Diaz representing Austin, Texas.
When it comes to Yolanda’s baking she specializes in using a variety of techniques and mix of savory and sweet flavors. She’ll be competing against nine professional bakers battle it out on the new season where
they must all create a selection of elegant and delicious baked goods through two rounds highlighting their mastery of skills, followed by a Master Challenge that tests the bakers’ prowess of working with specific flavors and ingredients.
Returning judges, Jason Smith and Marcela Valladolid, wll be joined by special guest pastry experts each episode to determine which baker possesses the artistry and creativity needed to earn the grand prize and be crowned Best Baker in America!
Food Network’s Scott Conant will also return to host the show, as he will be tasking the bakers with multiple challenges designed to put their baking skills and technical proficiency to the test for a chance to walk away with $25,000 and the coveted title.
