Similar to the other three locations, the Northwest Hills cafe will also offer coffee, mimosas and brunch on weekends until 4:00 p.m.Exclusive to the Northwest Hills location though, this restaurant will offer pancakes for the very first time, as well as several adult-friendly offerings like Zocaritas from Zocalo Cafe, an expanded wine menu, and multiple local beers on tap including Austin Beerworks, South Austin Brewery, (512) Brewery Company, Independence Brewing Co. and Live Oak Brewing Company. Additionally, the new location will include a dedicated lounge area featuring a traditional Italian coffee menu.

“We have built the Galaxy Cafe business around Austin neighborhoods. We looked at this neighborhood in 2004, but could not secure the proper location. Our team has been trying to secure this very spot for years,” says co-owner Kelly Chappell. “The Northwest Hills neighborhood has already welcomed us to the community and we are thrilled to have our fourth location here.”

With a conscious focus on local and organic offerings, Galaxy Cafe is well known in the Austin area for its high quality ingredients, in addition to its fresh produce and baked bread that are delivered daily. Each location has also uses biodegradable products and packaging. Additionally, all of the Galaxy Cafes will continue to serve only all natural, free-range, hormone & antibiotic free eggs, chicken, & beef.

Local designer and current Northwest Hills resident, Joel Mozersky, was brought in to design the new space. The new eatery will continue in line with the same Galaxy Cafe visual aesthetic that has won the hearts (and stomachs) of Austin residents and visitors alike, but with a greater emphasis on the cafe’s intergalactic theme. Mozersky is already well known in the Austin area for his past work with Uchi, Alamo Drafthouse, La Condesa, and Birds Barbershop, among others.
