Emmer & Rye is excited to collaborate with Austin’s beloved Antonelli’s Cheese to celebrate their six year anniversary with a five-course cheese dinner at the restaurant on Tuesday, February 9.

The dinner, priced at $75 per guest, will begin with a Port Cocktail paired with Antonelli’s alpine style Glarner Alpkase to kick off the evening.

The meal will continue with four courses, including:

  • Antonelli’s Harbison served with in-house ferments, olives, and bread
  • Bitter greens, Antonelli’s Shakerag Blue, and breadcrumbs
  • Antonelli’s Red Hawk and Polenta
  • Pork Shoulder with whey, celery, turnip broth, charred celery oil, and seared Antonelli’s Ashlyn

Dinner will finish with Almond and Wilde Weide gouda upside down cake served with whey caramel, created with Antonelli’s cheese from talented Pastry Chef Tavel Bristol-Joseph. An optional wine pairing will be available to accompany the dinner.

In addition to the delicious five-course dinner, Antonelli’s cheesemongers will be on hand to offer samples of the cheeses featured in the dishes and to share stories about each cheese.
