Double the Locations, Double the Flavor
Austin, TX) – After successfully moving to South First this summer, El Chile is reopening its doors on Manor Road in celebration of 10 years spent in Austin. Because the restaurant’s consistent rise in popularity over the years, El Chile has grown too big for one location and has decided to reopen in a familiar place, Manor Road. Under esteemed restaurateur and owner, Carlos Rivero, El Chile has been established as an Austin favorite for ten years, a feat that can only be celebrated with a second location.
“The past decade has been a whirlwind that has proven successful,” says Rivero. “We love both neighborhoods, South First and Manor Road. In honor of ten years, I feel like we are ready to branch out with a second location.”
Making a smooth transition, El Chile plans to reopen the doors at 1809 Manor Rd. by October 23, the same date El Chile opened its doors in 2003. The restaurant will celebrate its 10th birthday this month; the anniversary will mark a decade of classic Tex-Mex coupled with authentic interior flavors. The El Chile group has established a name for themselves over the last 10 years, with Austin favorites including El Alma and El Chilito.
El Chile offers an eclectic selection of modern Mexican fare, attributing original bold recipes from Mexico’s interiors along with fresh flavors familiar to Texas natives. Executive Chef Jeff Martinez has partnered with friend and El Chile owner, Carlos Rivero, to introduce innovative recipes that complement menu favorites. El Chile is a favorite of Austinites with its fame not locally limited. The restaurant receives national recognition from journalists, celebrities, and foodies alike that travel to bite into its unforgettable cuisine and unique atmosphere.
