EAT THE HEAT is the Nationally Recognized and Award Winning annual fundraiser hosted by the Austin Chapter of NACE, the National Association for Catering and Events. Each year NACE-Austin partners with a local charity and produces an event that showcases Austin’s finest culinary talent and their favorite ways to beat the grueling Texas summers. The summer’s fun event is typically a progressive cocktail style party that moves through spaces/venues as guests are treated to specialty cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment with a grand finale featuring a Chef’s Showcase and Silent Auction! As guests fall down the rabbit hole for 2014 the event will all take place at one location, the Renaissance Austin Hotel

Proceeds benefit the Foundation of NACE as well as provides local NACE-members with scholarships in support of attendance at the organization’s National Experience Conference each year!  A portion of the event’s net profit also benefits our 2014 Charity Partner, The Arc of the Capital Area.
