Contigo Austin is expanding its kitchen, and to celebrate, the team is throwing a party! So basically, it’s a win-win. Contigo’s Craft Beer Cookout will be held Monday, September 22 from 5:30pm to 9:00pm

Co-owners Ben Edgerton and Andrew Wiseheart plan to tear down the wall that currently separates the restaurant’s kitchen from the front of the front of house, leaving the kitchen and all its activity open to diners. Because this necessitates shutting down kitchen operations for a bit, and because Contigo would never leave anyone out in the cold, there will be live music, beer from four local breweries and small plates for all in the beer garden.  Additional details below:

  • Live Oak Brewing Company: Hefeweizen, Oaktoberfest
  • Thirsty Planet: Thirsty Goat Amber Ale
