To Offer Full-Service Catering

Contigo Austin, the award-winning East Austin neighborhood restaurant from Ben Edgerton and chef Andrew Wiseheart, will introduce Contigo Catering on Wednesday, October 1, 2014.  The team is currently taking bookings and inquiries for this fall, the holiday season and beyond.

Contigo Catering aims to share the comfortable, hospitable experience of Contigo Austin with a wider audience in the convenience of guests’ homes, offices and event spaces.  With a focus on full-service catering and delivery available, Contigo Catering will bring chef Andrew Wiseheart’s thoughtful, approachable cuisine to special events, family gatherings, weddings and celebrations, business meetings and more.  The accessible catering menu will be inspired by Wisheart’s restaurant menu and his use of fresh, quality ingredients in unique and creative dishes. Several Contigo Austin menu favorites will be available through catering, including Pigs in a Blanket, Rabbit & Dumplings, Charcuterie and White Bean Dip, in addition to new menu items created specifically for the catering menu.

Among the Contigo Catering offerings will be outdoor stations for large-scale outdoor events.  The experienced catering staff will help plan and execute events, incorporating memorable menu ideas such as whole hog roasts; cured, smoked meat; and customized carving stations for large cuts of meat or house-made charcuterie.

The Contigo Catering beverage program will offer both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, including many of the most popular drinks from the Contigo Austin menu, such as El Pepino, Moscow Mueller and fresh, housemade mixers and fresh-squeezed juices.  Signature and custom cocktails and a thoughtfully curated selection of wine and beer will be available in addition to aguas frescas, cold-brew coffee and barista service.
