AUSTIN, TX– The Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts located at 6020-B Dillard Circle in Austin, Texas, is excited to announce that its Director of Career Services and Farm To Table® Coordinator, Carla Williams, has been inducted into the Austin Chapter of  Les Dames d’Escoffier International. Williams, along with 11 others became the newest members into the invitational organization of women leaders in food, beverage and hospitality whose mission is education, advocacy and philanthropy.

“I am excited and honored to be fulfilling a lifetime goal of joining this group of women who share a passion with me for education and the culinary arts,” said Carla Williams, Director of Career Services and Farm To Table® Coordinator for the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts.

Carla utilizes her current position as Career Services Director and Farm To Table® Coordinator to assist students with global job placements as well as arranging hands-on working experience with local farms as part of the school’s Farm To Table® Experience. Carla appreciates her role in being able to make a positive impact on the future of the hospitality industry.

Prior to her position at Escoffier, Williams worked as a pastry chef and as a certified analyst for Quaker Foods. She graduated with honors from The School of Culinary Arts at the Art Institute of Atlanta as well as in Business Management from Kennesaw State College.

“The Les Dames d’Escoffier Austin Chapter is excited to its newest members. With the addition of these 12 distinguished new members, the Austin chapter now represents more than 60 of Austin’s most highly regarded women culinary professionals. Our chapter is thrilled with the professional abilities and range of talents of those who were nominated and accepted into the chapter this year.
