Batch Craft Beer & Kolaches, has announced the hiring of their new pastry chef, Madison Ries as well as some new and exciting new flavors including seasonal kolaches and the launch of daily breakfast kolaches beginning on August 1.
At the helm of Batch’s bakery is Pastry Chef Madison Reis who have over seven years of experience in mastering the art of the pastry. After graduating at an early age of 14, Reis’ baking career began with a degree in culinary arts at Culinary Institute of America, and a degree in baking and pastry arts at Escoffier. Since then, she has expanded her knowledge on baking principles and culinary management by previously holding the roles of pastry, line and pre-cook at Gino’s Vino Osteria that led to leading the bakery program at Cupprimo Cupcakery & Coffee Shop.
She recently debuted new kolache flavors including Peanut Butter and Chocolate Drizzle, Smoked Brisket & BBQ Sauce, and will be releasing seasonal summer flavors such as Strawberry and Lemonade.
The new weekday opening hours will start at 7:00 a.m., and weekend opening hours starting at 9:00 a.m. In addition, Batch will be fully launching their breakfast kolaches as a daily menu item featuringfavorites such as Ham, Egg and Cheese; Bacon, Egg and Cheese; a Maple-infused dough kolache with Egg and Sausage; and more.
