Austin’s vibrant home brewing community is coming together for the AustinHome Brew Festival on Saturday, November 15 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Getaway Motor Club. All proceeds from this event will be donated to AHB Community School, a 501 c3 non-profit that offers Austin families a unique and progressive educational model. Getaway Motor Club is located at 3700 Thompson St.

Enjoy small batch beers and kombuchas from local home brewers and feast on food from Frank and desserts by Churro Co. There will also be a silent auction featuring items from Austin’s craft beer and hospitality community such as private brewery tours and an overnight stay at Travassa.

A professional panel of judges from Live Oak Brewing Company, South Austin Brewing, The ABGB and Hops & Grain will be onsite to judge the home brewed entries and to select a winner. Categories include Best in Show, Judge’s Choice (Most Unique) & Crowd Favorite.

There is a suggested tax-deductible donation of $40 (plus Eventbrite fee) for a general admission ticket that includes a branded tasting glass, tasting tickets, food and access to the show room. There is also a VIP access ticket for a suggested tax-deductible donation of $75 that includes an exclusive chef tasting and early access to the event. Early access will allow you time to meet the brewers, judges and chefs as they share more about their craft. Enjoy an exclusive chef tasting with artisan wild game treats from Frank expertly paired with samples from local brewers. The VIP lounge overlooks the main show room and features additional tables and seating, flat screen TVs that will broadcast the UT football game, and fun games like darts, pool and video arcade games.
