The Austin Food + Wine Festival recently announced the all-star schedule of chefs cooking at the interactive Fire Pits at the sixth annual Austin Food + Wine Festival.
The festival grounds at Auditorium Shores will feature three interactive live-fire stations per day, with some of the country’s most dynamic chefs cooking over Fire Pits and offering tastes to both All-In and Weekender ticket holders throughout the weekend. The Fire Pits provide a forum for top Texas talent and an opportunity to taste the chefs’ bold creations, including whole-roasted meats, ash-cooked vegetables, and much more.
The Fire Pits will showcase multiple chefs on Saturday and Sunday, each offering a front-row experience cooking with live fire to all festival ticket holders. On Saturday, April 29, enjoy fire-roasted dishes from chefs Bryce Gilmore (Barley Swine, Odd Duck); Blaine Staniford (Grace, Little Red Wasp); and Andrew Wiseheart (Contigo, Contigo Catering, Chicon). On Sunday, April 30, Fire Pit chefs will include: Sonya Coté; Michael Fojtasek (Olamaie); and Kent Rathbun (Abacus, Hickory, Jasper’s).
