COVID-19 is wreaking havoc on Austin’s economy and the restaurant industry, so restaurants have transformed their services to offer curbside and takeout delivery options that allow customers to enjoy their favorite dishes at home.
Daily dining is not only taking a huge hit in Austin. Sunday-Funday activities have also be halted, which means enjoying a casual Sunday brunch at a local restaurant is no longer an option unless you’d like to enjoy it at home. Here are several Austin restaurants offering curbside and takeout brunch services.
11600 Rock Rose Ave #100 | Bakery Lorraine is offering brunch and breakfast items from their full menu available for pick up or delivery.
1000 E 11th St | Old Thousand is launching Sunday dim sum brunch to go, beginning this Sunday, April 19. Sunday brunch is available by preorder and for pickup at the restaurant only. 79 Rainey St. | Banger’s is offering a refrigerated Brunch in Box special, which includes a dozen eggs, 16oz of bacon or breakfast sausage, a dozen english muffins, 4 avocados, 4 Roma tomatoes and a head of iceberg lettuce all for $25.
1224 S Congress Ave. | Joann’s is offering a curbside brunch menu, from 10am – 2pm, featuring Mexican breakfast plates, specialty dishes, family packs and tacos. Orders may be placed online or calling 512-358-6054.

3825 Lake Austin Blvd. | Mozart’s is partnering with Black’s Barbecue offering“Black N Brew Drive-Thru,” featuring BBQ favorites along with hot and cold brew coffee, including family packs and cold brew growlers that can be refilled for $6. Mozart’s baked goods and treats are also available to order, including cakes, cookies and other sweet treats. There are big family packs or you can get cold-brew growlers. Two Locations in Austin | District Kitchen is offering a curbside and takeout brunch menu served on Saturday and Sunday offering entrees and bites, available at both locations in Austin.
