Austin LOVES brunch. Every weekend, without fail – we don our Sunday best (usually the Outdoor Voices) and fight the masses for our three hour chat fest. But a brunch crawl? Austin’s inexplicably never seen one. Enter the inaugural BrunchWest brunch crawl hosted by the West Sixth Entertainment District. That’s right. On Sunday, November 20th, 2016, from noon to 3 p.m., you can experience Austin’s very first brunch crawl.
Each participating location will offer their unique spin on brunch with bites (included in ticket cost) and have a special BrunchTail and beer selection (available for purchase). Extracurricular activities include a pre-brunch yoga session from Black Swan Yoga (11 a.m. at Parlor & Yard), live music from gritty troubadour Cameran Nelson (3 p.m. at Rattle Inn), singer-songwriter sets at Rustic Tap Beer Garden, and NFL football all day.
BrunchBites include delights like migas kolaches, crispy tamales with queso, brisket egg biscuits, Bloody Mary quesadillas, biscuits and poblano gravy with chorizo, breakfast skillets, French onion eclairs, and blueberry pancakes. BrunchWest will also feature a pop-up appearance from the upcoming Bonhomie’s Phillip Speer and the debut of a still-secret new concept from renowned Austin chefs.
But wait, what’s better than brunch? Brunching for a GREAT cause. In the thanksgiving spirit, a portion of each ticket sale directly benefits Operation Turkey, a 100 percent volunteer organization that will deliver more than 40,000 meals to the homeless and less fortunate in the community.
