Local Italian cafe, CANTINE Italian Café & Bar, is excited to announce their upcoming event, Paula’s & Paella, with the Paula’s Texas Spirits family. Paula’s Texas Grapefruit launched earlier this summer and Austinites already know it’s the perfect addition to most any cocktail to keep refreshed on a hot day.


To celebrate, CANTINE is featuring three special cocktails created by bar manager Adrian Braun, including a summer sangria, the Paula’s Texas Grapefruit Spritz (Paula’s Texas Grapefruit and cava) and Right on Red (Paula’s Texas Grapefruit, bourbon, raspberry and lemon). Additionally, chef Scott Kaplan will cook up a paella with squid ink rice, calamari, clams, chorizo, peas, piquillo peppers and roasted garlic aioli, pairing perfectly with the refreshing libations.


Keeping in theme with CANTINE’s Paella Tuesday (when the restaurant serves a seasonal paella and $5 sangrias exclusively on Tuesdays), this event will be a great treat to look forward to during the work week. It is open to the public, with Paula’s Texas Grapefruit cocktails and paella available for purchase.
